Rinse the tank and wipe the parts with warm water and mild soap about once a week. Replace the filter every 2–4 weeks, or sooner if it looks discolored or you have more than one pet. Unplug the charging cable and keep the battery and electrical parts away from water when cleaning.

How often should I change the filter?

Every 2–4 weeks for one cat, or more often with multiple pets. You can add a 6-pack of replacement filters when you order.

My cat won't use it. What should I do?

Give it a few days. Put it where your cat already drinks, keep their old bowl nearby at first, and let them get used to the sound and movement.

Does it need to be plugged in?

No. It has a built-in rechargeable battery and runs cordless once charged. Recharge it with the USB cable when the battery runs low. The motion sensor helps the charge last, because it only runs when your cat comes to drink.
